Basic Description: Robust Smooth is a smoothing filter that is easy to use because you only have to enter one single parameter. At this point it is not yet fully functional, however, and does not operate well on multiple tiles. It does not account for tile edges and leaves behind very obvious edge effects at all boundaries between tiles.

Instructions: After choosing a selection method and making your selection on the survey, enter any positive or negative real number in the Smoothness box. Higher numbers will smooth the image to a greater degree than smaller numbers. Typical values are between 0 and 3.
