 Edit Survey
Selecting Edit Survey from the Edit Menu takes you to the Survey Tool where you can make a variety of changes and updates to a survey. |
 Preferences
The Preferences dialogue allows you to change a few settings for viewing and handling data.
1. The Color tab allows you to change the color used for the Default Mapping Surfaces, which basically changes the background surrounding and behind a survey. To change the, click the change button, then select one of the swatches or create any color using the HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness) or RGB (Red Green Blue) tabs.
2. The Units tab allows you to change the Linear Units from meters (default) to feet, and select a coordinate system out of hundreds of options. The default coordinate system is WGS84, which is a geodetic system of latitude and longitude. If you are not using any real world coordinates just leave it as WGS84 and use 0, 0 for the coordinates.
