Chapter 1: Introduction

 

This manual provides a primer on how to use ArchaeoFusion and a reference guide for each operation and menu item.

 

ArchaeoFusion was written at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA by William Johnston, Jackson Cothren, and Yan Hou with substantial input by Eileen Ernenwein, with funding from a grant from the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (a Department of Defense research program).

 

This manual was originally written in html to utilize hyperlinks and callouts that point out various parts of the menus and tools. Viewing the manual in this format is strongly recommended because it makes navigation much easier. If you are viewing this manual in a different format, such as a pdf, hyperlinks will not work and using the manual will be less user-friendly. The html version of the manual is available from the help menu in ArchaeoFusion.
